As it being the first ever blog post on our website, it is only right we give you the full backstory of our company, and how Hale Snacks officially came about!
We at Hale are very enthusiastic about dietary health and fitness, with protein being a very significant part. It can be difficult to get enough good protein from our meals, however, we really struggled with having a reliable source of protein snacks, without having to surf countless shops to find the perfect snack for us!
Back in the summer of 2019 our founder was getting ready to pop out to run a number of errands and felt a little peckish just before he left. So he searched the kitchen for some sort of healthy snack that would keep him going until he got back home to have dinner. Could he find anything….no. All he had was a chocolate bar or greasy packet of crisps which he knew would not really get him through his afternoon, if only he had some healthy on the go snacks ready in his kitchen drawer? This was the seed that developed into the idea of Hale Snacks.
We wanted to create a box with the best, tastiest protein snacks on the market, and have them available at all times. Furthemore, by offering the box as a monthly subscription service, customers would never need to worry about this again. This is the root of Hale Snacks. The issue of not having a healthy snack to hand or having surfing shops and trying different brands to find your favourite would no longer be a problem, so this is what we did!
Furthermore, we decided to ensure all of our products would be Vegan friendly. We truly believe that having plant based protein as your main source of protein, has many benefits that will have a positive impact throughout your diet and overall lifestyle. We want our snackbox to be suitable for anyone, no matter the diet or lifestyle they live.
You now know the reason why we started Hale Snacks, however, why the name “Hale”? Well, the definition of “Hale” is: “The retainment of exceptional health”. This is what we are hoping to achieve. Via our Snack-boxes, each subscriber would have a range of nutritional snacks to choose from at all times, therefore, helping them to maintain a high standard and quality of health.
